Join us for a FREE fun-filled family day celebrating our new art exhibitions, Sugar Hill Songbook: Select Work by Faith Ringgold, Justin Favela: Recuérdame, and Yuken Teruya: Cutting Trees.
10am - 5pm: All-day art-making activities to honor our new art on view will include Collective Quilting, Paper Sculptures and Tissue Paper Landscapes.
11 am -1 pm: Malika Leigh Whitney and Double Dutch Dreamz are back with their high paced rhythms, double dutch and jump rope!
1-2 pm: Story Hour: Sunday Fundays with Flor - storytelling inspired by Justin Favela’s paper mural.
3-4 pm: Anthropologists’ This Sinking Island - a play about migration, climate and imagining a better future.
4-5pm: Drumadics’ performance – a concert by the unmistakable contemporary sounds of this favorite NYC band.
