 SUMMER CAMP AT SUGAR HILL
JULY 10 - 27, 2017

Register today for Summer CAMP at Sugar Hill! This special program for children ages 3-8 is offered by the Sugar Hill Children's Museum of Art & Storytelling in partnership with the Sugar Hill Museum Preschool. Children will spend three weeks exploring the uses of light as a medium, studying light & shadow, translucency, and how we can tell stories using light as our source!

This joint program will be led by Sugar Hill Museum Preschool teachers and Sugar Hill Children's Museum of Art & Storytelling Artist Educators. Each week, Guest Artists will share their professional practice with campers, expanding the children's exposure to the arts and the practice of professional artists. All camp activities will take place at Sugar Hill in fully air conditioned spaces. Children will have access to Preschool and Museum facilities including classrooms, galleries, Studio Labs and our beautiful interior courtyards.

WHAT WE OFFER:

  • Camp from July 10 - July 27 (attendance is required throughout the camp period)
  • Program will run daily from 8:00am to 3:00pm
  • Camp will be limited to 30 children ages 3 - 8.

About our Camp program
The Sugar Hill Children’s Museum of Art and Storytelling offers day-long camp experiences during School Recesses. Our educational staff and visiting artists guide and engage campers through various art exploration activities, both individually and collectively, as they explore a larger theme, all culminating in a final event.
