Welcome to the Sugar Hill Children's Museum of Art & Storytelling! Nestled in the historic neighborhood of Sugar Hill in Harlem, New York, we offer year-round art exhibitions, storytelling series, art-making workshops and an early childhood arts education curriculum. Museum programs are designed to nurture the curiosity and creative spirit of three- to eight year-old children, building the language, literacy and critical thinking skills that lead to lifelong learning.
Explore social justice themes and the legacy of our neighborhood through our on-going art exhibitions featuring artists from Harlem and beyond.
Explore your inner artist in our Studio Labs! Open during Museum hours, we offer curated and free-style art-making activities.
The Museum presents inter-generational storytelling programs each week about Harlem and Northern Manhattan with local artists.
Book worms can find a slew of books available in our Reading Nook! Stop by and pick up your favorite author and let your imagination run wild.
