HISTORY TALES

Join us for a special storytelling afternoon with Reverend Malika Lee Whitney and The Significant Elders in collaboration with the Digital Diaspora Family Reunion.

The Digital Diaspora Family Reunion is an interactive multi-media project designed to engage community through cherished visual images and narrative reflection. The goal is to highlight the importance of one's own personal, family and community life documents as historical artifacts in the making. The interactions among participants create dynamic and meaningful connections. A special segment of the presentation is entitled, Baby It's You.  Children and folk of all ages will be invited to share their photographs and the stories that accompany them. The Digital Diaspora Family Reunion is presented in association with Pickney Productions.

* EXPRESS YOURSELF *
In celebration of the power of protest all week, come express yourself through verbal and non-verbal forms. Yelling, banging, silence, drawing, marching and other forms are encouraged!
