Story Time: Tales on Sugar Hill with Josefina Baez
Story Time: Tales on Sugar Hill
After introducing and sharing songs from her home country of the Dominican Republic, as well as songs from her current home of New York City, Josefina Baez led children and adults in a process of discovering and creating their own family "songs" in clay, paint and crayon.
Story Time: Tales on Sugar Hill is supported, in part, by public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council, as well as Assemblyman Keith L.T. Wright and the New York State Office of Children and Families. Leadership support is provided by the Pierre and Tana Matisse Foundation and the Reba Judith Sandler Foundation.
